Our Customer:
A global enterprise organization focused on building scalable analytics and data platforms within a Microsoft-first ecosystem. The company leverages Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and modern data technologies to deliver secure, high-performance business intelligence and analytics solutions across the organization.
Your Tasks:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery within a business domain, covering planning, execution, UAT, and release.
- Ensure delivery of PI objectives, sprint commitments, key milestones, and high-quality releases.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, issues, and blockers early, and drive timely mitigation or escalation.
- Act as the primary counterpart to vendor ART Leads, ensuring adherence to delivery processes, governance, and quality standards.
- Challenge delivery plans, estimates, and execution where needed, and provide input into vendor performance management.
- Support and validate PI Planning preparation and execution, ensuring clear scope, identified dependencies, aligned capacity, and realistic commitments.
- Manage cross-team and cross-train dependencies across IT, business functions, vendors, CoEs, and shared platforms.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Delivery Liaisons to ensure clarity of priorities and alignment across delivery teams.
- Track and analyze delivery KPIs, such as predictability, throughput, and defect trends, using data to improve delivery performance and flow.
- Provide clear and structured reporting to leadership on delivery status, risks, issues, dependencies, and recommended actions.
- Ensure consistent use of delivery tools, such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and promote transparency, ownership, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.
Required experience and skills:
- 8+ years of experience in IT delivery, including agile delivery at scale.
- Proven experience managing multi-team or program-level delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile / SAFe principles and execution.
- Experience with delivery metrics and performance management.
- Strong delivery leadership and execution mindset.
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Would be a plus:
- Experience in data, analytics, or digital delivery environments.
- Experience working in vendor-based delivery models.
- Agile certification, such as SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, or Scrum Master.
- Project / delivery certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Experience or certification in data, analytics, or digital platforms
- Familiarity with Power Platform, BI, or Data & AI technologies.
