Senior BI & Analytics (Fabric / Power BI) Remote Full-time

Our Customer:

A global enterprise focused on building advanced data and analytics capabilities and scaling a modern cloud-based BI platform based on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Your tasks:

  • Act as a technical expert for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric in an enterprise analytics environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, data refresh, semantic models, capacity, and cross-platform integrations (Azure, Databricks, SAP, etc.).
  • Design and implement AI-driven accelerators using Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, and automation frameworks to reduce development effort and standardize BI delivery through reusable assets.
  • Develop and validate Proofs of Concept for new Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
  • Optimize semantic models, DAX calculations, Direct Lake performance, and overall reporting efficiency.
  • Build and maintain reusable assets such as templates, scripts, and automation toolkits.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, governance practices, and monitoring solutions for BI platforms.
  • Translate architectural requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required experience and skills:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proven experience applying AI in BI or analytics engineering workflows, including Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, and automation frameworks.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX and semantic modeling.
  • Strong understanding of Direct Lake, incremental refresh, aggregations, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, workspace governance, and capacity management.
  • Experience integrating with Azure, Databricks, SAP, and other enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience delivering technical Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience building reusable frameworks or internal BI tooling.
  • Background in data engineering or data platform development.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience optimizing cloud cost and resource utilization.
