Middle DevOps Engineer (Platform Cloud AWS) Full-time

Our Customer:

A fast-growing international technology company focused on building scalable digital platforms that improve everyday experiences for millions of users worldwide. The team operates in a high-load, cloud-native environment, emphasizing reliability, performance, and continuous innovation.

Your tasks:

  • Support and deliver real-time, high-availability systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain and enhance observability infrastructure (logs, metrics, traces) across the organization
  • Build and improve dashboards using OpenSearch/Kibana and Grafana
  • Implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies using PromQL, SQL, and Lucene
  • Develop automation scripts and services using Go, Python, and JavaScript
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation
  • Automate CI/CD and operational processes using GitLab, Jenkins, Bash, Python, and AWS
  • Take ownership of solutions in situations with incomplete requirements

Required experience and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding of observability and monitoring principles
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including networking fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of the OSI model and distributed systems concepts
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, and VictoriaMetrics
  • Programming/scripting skills (Go, Python, JavaScript or similar)
  • Data-driven mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English (C1)

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD
  • Experience building internal dashboards and developer-facing tools
  • Exposure to high-load or mission-critical systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in dynamic environments
