Our Customer:
A fast-growing international technology company focused on building scalable digital platforms that improve everyday experiences for millions of users worldwide. The team operates in a high-load, cloud-native environment, emphasizing reliability, performance, and continuous innovation.
Your tasks:
- Support and deliver real-time, high-availability systems in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain and enhance observability infrastructure (logs, metrics, traces) across the organization
- Build and improve dashboards using OpenSearch/Kibana and Grafana
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies using PromQL, SQL, and Lucene
- Develop automation scripts and services using Go, Python, and JavaScript
- Work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD and operational processes using GitLab, Jenkins, Bash, Python, and AWS
- Take ownership of solutions in situations with incomplete requirements
Required experience and skills:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of observability and monitoring principles
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including networking fundamentals
- Solid understanding of the OSI model and distributed systems concepts
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, and VictoriaMetrics
- Programming/scripting skills (Go, Python, JavaScript or similar)
- Data-driven mindset with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Upper-intermediate or higher English (C1)
Would be a plus:
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD
- Experience building internal dashboards and developer-facing tools
- Exposure to high-load or mission-critical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in dynamic environments
